Marcos Pico Rentería

(1981) Studied literature at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). He continued his studies at Arizona State University (ASU) where he earned his Ph.D. in Latin American Literature. His general research interests include digital humanities, semiotics, communication theory, and Latin American political discourse. He currently works as an Assistant Professor at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California.

Indira García Varela

(1982) Is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Kansas University, where her research concentrates on medieval Spain. In 2012, She received her B.A. in Art History, Philosophy, and Museum Studies from Arizona State University. In 2016 she received her M.A. in Spanish Literature from Arizona State University. She is the founder of the online virtual Contemporary art gallery KantArt.

José Flores

(1985) studied Chicano studies and literatures at the University of California, Irvine (UCI). He continued his studies at the University of Texas Pan-American (UTPA) and currently holds a doctorate from Arizona State University (ASU). His research interests include Chicano and Latino literature, ethnic/racial discourse in the US and Latin America, and speculative fiction.

Erika Bondi

(1984) Ph.D. in Latin American Literatures and Cultures at Arizona State University (ASU). Her interests include history and philosophy of emotion, contemporary fiction, and narratology.

Daniel Holcombe

(1961) Studied Spanish at the University of North Carolina at Asheville (UNCA) and continued studying Latin American literature (M.A.) and Spanish peninsular literature (Ph.D.) at Arizona State University (ASU). His primary research centers on illustrated editions of Don Quixote, as framed by illustrations by Salvador Dalí.

Ángel María Rañales

(1992) Studied English Philology at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela and completed graduate school at the University of Kansas. His research interests include medieval and early-modern Iberian literature and culture, with particular attention to late fifteenth-century fiction and chivalric artifacts. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Spanish at the University of South Carolina Aiken, where he shares his passion for teaching and learning.
